Chamber Day 2008 is only a month away. Wednesday May 7th is the date for the 20th annual Chamber Day and 10th annual Chamber Evening Fund Raiser for the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber.
The USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber is dedicated to the treatment of diving accidents on a 24/7/365 basis. Having the Chamber available gives divers in Southern California waters a vital safety net in the event something should go wrong.
The Chamber’s contract from LA County provides only about 55% of the Chamber’s annual budget needs. The annual Chamber Day contributions from divers, clubs, shops, manufacturers, organizations, publications and dive boat operators Chamber Day provide a significant portion of the remaining 45% of the budget.
If you haven’t already signed up for Chamber Day 2008 yet there are many ways you can participate:
• Participate in the 20th Annual Chamber Day Dive
• Attend the 10th Annual Chamber Eve Dinner
• Enter the Chamber Day Raffle
• Donate to the 2008 Catalina Chamber Challenge
• Order a Commemorative 20th DAY / 10th EVE Chamber Day 2008 Suede Jacket
• Order Through the Lens: A Chronicle of CD2007

We’ld like to apologize to all those guests that called to schedule a san diego scuba diving tour or class and were postponed or unfortunately not answered in a very timely manner. We do have a good excuse though. We’ve been rather busy adjusting to the very hectic schedule of our newest recruit… well, maybe someday she’ll be a recruit! We’ve been adjusting to the schedule of our new daughter Avalon (Ava). She decided to come into the world 3 weeks early, to surprise us all. At 6# 13ozs. and only 17 inches, she’s a petite little spit fire. So, if you were one of our clients that got rescheduled, referred or unfortunately not answered, we apologize. We hope to be diving with you soon! Ava will be making appearances at the beach later this summer, although we havent found a wetsuit that’ll fit her yet.
